WARRIORLAND WLS-104: Ultra Compact Red Laser Sight (FAILURE!)

I’ll preface this review by saying thanks to Warriorland for reaching out for an honest review of their new (at the time of this writing) WLS-104 Red Laser Sight & G17 Kydex Holster Combination package. The product description below is my attempt to translate the broken English from their description. No disrespect to them, but, they’re obviously not from the Western Hemisphere. Their broken English is much better than my non-existent Chinese. Anyways, here is some of what they have to say about the WLS-104:

“The Warriorland WLS-104 Red Laser Sight is custom made for Glock 17/19 Gen 3-5, G23/31/32 Gen 3-4, & G19x/44/45. It is the very first laser sight equipped with Power Indicator on the market. The Power Indicator shows Green when the battery level is at 70%-100%, Blue at 20%-70%, Red at 0-20%.
It is compact and lightweight for better shooting performance and concealed carry. Conclusions:
Well, as the video stated. This thing didn’t hold zero at all. I even gave it a second chance and took it back inside, reinstalled, and had a close zero to where the laser met my iron sights at my point of aim from across the garage. But, as soon as I started shooting, it just goes nuts and jumps around. The first attempt, it walked up and to the right, while on the second attempt, it walked up and to the left.
I have reached out to customer service to report my findings, and potentially make an exchange for a new/working unit. I will post updates as those happen.
Some additional notes after wearing the holster for a few days while doing manual labor outside, as well as sitting at my desk job: it isn’t very comfortable, but it works. It doesn’t have a positive “snap” where your gun locks into and releases from, but seems tight enough that it would keep it where you need it once being worn. Like many Kydex holsters, if it was molded for a light or laser, it probably won’t work as well without that accessory attached to your firearm, and that holds true here. Although a very small footprint, the WLS-104 helped secure my G17 in the holster when installed, as it was designed to do.
So, at the time of this writing, I can not recommend this laser sight and holster combo. Perhaps my opinion will change if I get a working unit to try out, but we shall see. The laser stayed on. I’ll give it that much. Maybe it was my error during installation that it wouldn’t stay zeroed? Well, that’s why I tried a second time to install, zero, and test fire. While Warriorland seems like a company with good intentions, that doesn’t matter at all if their products don’t deliver.
