Warriorland MA2: 800 Lumen Rail Mounted Rechargeable Flashlight

Welcome back. I’ll start this writing by saying thanks again to Warriorland for reaching out for an honest review of their Crossbow MA2 800 Lumen Weapon Light. If you missed it, go check out the WLS-104 Laser Sight article and video to get an idea of what my first impressions of Warriorland were. Based off of that, you could imagine where I thought this review was going.

No disrespect to them, but, they’re obviously not from the Western Hemisphere. Their broken English is much better than my level 0 Chinese skill.

CONCLUSIONS:
In short, I’m much more impressed with this unit than the WLS-104 Laser Sight. I will admit I have only ran it for a few hundred rounds and had only charged it for a few minutes past the amount of juice it came with from the factory. The 800 Lumen setting is fairly impressive, but it doesn’t last very long. 75 Minutes tops, on a full charge before she goes out. Speaking of going out – It only has a 1 meter drop rating, which is somewhat off-putting as far as being able to rely on this unit when you might really need it.
The quick-detach USB charger cable is pretty awesome. Should you use this as a bed side rig, there is no reason to have anything but 100% charge. You can easily tell the level of your batter by the built in status screen. Overall, I believe this is a decent light, but definitely not as rugged as my Streamlight TLR-1 HL. I don’t think I’d trust my life with it, just yet, but further testing will reveal more in the near future.
I will be coming back with a long term follow up review, as well as how it was dealing with customer service in regards to the issues with the WLS-104 they sent. Stay tuned for more!
